I was named on two provisional patents during my time at Quantros. One for further simplifying the process of selecting the proper safety category thru an algorithm comparing a user's desciption of the event to the historical data ('Smart Classification'). The second searched existing UB data to find procedures that would suggest safety events that had not been entered. UX design can be most valuable in lightening the user's workload, saving them from repetitive, laborious or error-prone tasks.
