A big challenge in healthcare, there was much highly-specialize Information Architecture from an alphabet soup of agencies (CMS; NDNQI; TJC; WHO; NCC-MERP). Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, I assisted in simplifying and re-organizing the 'taxonomy' of safety categories- going from over 1800 values down to around 900. Later on, I led a team of external stakeholders and clients in re-evaluating the 'Contributory Factors' - a crucial set of values that point towards improvements to prevent errors.
